Why this Savannah list is short

We only tag ownership when the restaurant says it, a named news source says it, or a Black-owned business directory lists it. A name or a guess is never enough.

Kim's Cafe says it on its own website. The others come from two local directories. The main national directory would not load for us on the day we built this, and ten more places are waiting on that check.

Two more Savannah kitchens to know

Hungry Vegan is a vegan soul food counter owned by Denise Washington. West Broad Bandshell calls itself the place "Where Soul Meets Seoul".

NaRobia's Grits & Gravy closed in March 2026 after 23 years. Some directories still list it.
